Behind every successfully delivered Emenea project stands a team of specialists whose careers have been built on some of the most technically demanding infrastructure works ever undertaken in Malaysia. Our key personnel bring decades of first-hand experience across railway engineering, project management, geotechnical engineering, project planning, and construction contract administration.

These specialists work alongside our Directors to lead the day-to-day delivery of client engagements. Their combined expertise means that when Emenea is engaged for a project — whether as designer, Project Management Consultant, or Independent Checking Consultant — the client benefits from the direct involvement of senior technical judgment shaped by the country’s largest infrastructure programmes.

Senior Project Manager

Ir. Haji Ahmad Shahidan Said

Ir. Haji Ahmad Shahidan Said is a highly experienced engineering and project management professional with a 43-year career overseeing some of Malaysia’s most significant infrastructure developments. Beginning his career with JKR and PLUS, where he managed vital segments of the North-South Expressway, his portfolio quickly expanded to include construction management for KLIA, Stadium Kuala Selangor, and critical watermain installations in the Klang Valley. Since joining Emenea Engineering Services, he has successfully coordinated major flood mitigation, road, and port facility projects. He is particularly recognized for his extensive leadership in the nation’s railway infrastructure sector, having directed technical audits and regional construction for various Electrified Double Track Projects, and he currently serves as the Project Director for the Subang–Skypark railway initiative.

Railway Permanent Way Specialist

Mansur Ghazali

Mansur Ghazali brings 44 years of experience in railway projects to Emenea’s specialist team. His career includes the implementation of the Double Track Project in the Klang Valley and planning for rail links to all ports in Peninsular Malaysia in his role as Planning Manager at KTMB’s Project Division. He has subsequently been engaged in the Technical Audit of Railway Engineering Aspects for the KVMRT1 Project Implementation, the Ampang Line Extension Project, the proposed relocation of the diesel fuel tank from KL Sentral to KLO, the design, construction, completion, testing and commissioning of the EMU Depot at Seremban for IJM Corporation Berhad, and the Klang Valley Mass Rapid Transit (KVMRT) Trackworks Project (SBK-S-06 Trackworks).

Railway Alignment Specialist

Hj. Selamat B. Hj. Tahir

Hj. Selamat B. Hj. Tahir contributes 44 years of vast experience in railway engineering design and management. He served as Senior Manager at KTMB for special projects, including the Double Track Project, where he exhibited strong technical capability in auditing and managing design works in railway engineering. He currently serves as Head of the Design Department for the Independent Checking Consultant (ICC) project team overseeing the Electrified Double Track from Subang to Skypark Subang Terminal Phase 1 Project.

Railway Signalling Specialist

Ir. Adenan Bin Rashid

Ir. Adenan Bin Rashid brings 38 years of experience in the railway signalling and communications field. He began his engineering career at KTM Berhad in 1986 as a Technical Assistant and served the national railway operator for 14 years, gaining comprehensive expertise in KTMB’s signalling and communications systems. He subsequently joined SCG Infrasystem as a shareholder and director, where he was involved in the Electrified Double Tracking Project from Sentul to Batu Caves for DRB Berhad. He was later engaged in the project management of system works for the Ipoh–Padang Besar Electrified Double Track Project as Senior Signalling Engineer.

Geotechnical Specialist

Ir. Menachi Sundaram Chettiar

Ir. Menachi Sundaram Chettiar is a BEM-registered Professional Engineer with 37 years of involvement in the design of geotechnical and foundation engineering as well as soil improvement systems. Among his most significant recent engagements, he served as the specialist in charge of the design audit for the geotechnical works of the Electrified Double Track Project from Ipoh to Padang Besar — one of the largest and most technically demanding rail projects in Malaysian history.

Senior Project Planner

Baharom Mohd Ali

Baharom Mohd Ali brings 32 years of experience across mega projects in infrastructure and mixed-development across both government and private sectors. His portfolio includes the construction of the Timah-Tasoh Dam, the PLUS and GRAND SAGA highways, Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), and the Johor Bahru Customs and Immigration Complex. Within trackwork projects, he served as Deputy Head of the Project Planning Department for the Project Management Consultant of the Electrified Double Tracking Project from Ipoh to Padang Besar. He currently serves as Senior Project Planner for the ICC project team overseeing the Electrified Double Track from Subang to Skypark Subang Terminal Phase 1 Project.

Senior Quantity Surveyor

Sr. Mohamad Razif Hj. Ibrahim

Sr. Mohamad Razif Hj. Ibrahim is registered as a Professional Quantity Surveyor with the Board of Quantity Surveyors Malaysia and is a Certified Adjudicator with the Asian International Arbitration Centre. He brings extensive experience in the construction and engineering industry as a quantity surveyor.

Sr. Mohamad Razif was engaged on the Ipoh–Padang Besar Electrified Double Track Project — a programme with a construction value of approximately RM12.485 billion — from 2008 to 2014 as Deputy Head of Contract and Costing. He currently serves as Director of Emenea Engineering Services Sdn Bhd.

Claims & Dispute Management: Identifying, preparing, and evaluating construction claims (including loss, expense, and disruption damages), alongside providing comprehensive litigation and audit support.
Variation & Time Management: Evaluating, reporting, and recommending Extension of Time (EOT) applications and managing Variation Orders from issuance through to approval.
Contract Administration & Progress Tracking: Overseeing project scheduling and planning, and conducting the supervision and certification of progress claims.
Project Compliance & Coordination: Coordinating with project managers regarding site instructions, Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and managing rejected quantum claims.
Professional Training: Delivering dedicated on-site and project management training programs.
